The congratulatory message of the President of Ireland on the occasion of the election of Dr. Pezeshkian

In an official message addressed to His Excellency Dr Masoud Pezeskhian, His Excellency President Michael D. Higgins of Ireland congratulated him on his victory in the Iranian Presidential Elections.  He also expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of the former president H.E. Dr Raisi and Foreign Minister H.E. Dr Amir Abdollahian, along with their companions in the tragic helicopter crash on 19th May.
President Higgins expressed hope for the expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries and noted that the reopening of the Irish Embassy in Tehran would facilitate closer cooperation.
He concluded with his very best wishes for Dr Pezeshkian endeavours amongst the challenges we all face at this difficult time as we struggle for peace.
