Tehran (ISNA) - With the beginning of the ten-day Fajr holidays and the 42nd anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution being imminent, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, visited the shrine of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and paid homage to the memory of the Iranian nation’s great and lofty leader by performing salat and reciting Quran. His Eminence also paid a visit to the tombs of the noble martyrs including Beheshti, Rajai, and Bahonar as well as the 7-Tir martyrs, asking Allah the Exalted to raise their status. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution visited Golzar-e Shohada [martyrs graveyard] afterward to pay tribute to the pure souls of the defenders of Islam and Iran.
