Message of Condolence on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dublin extends its heartfelt condolences to the devoted followers of His Holiness Pope during this time of profound loss.

Pope Francis was a moral leader of humility and compassion.  His tireless efforts to promote peace, interfaith dialogue and care for the most vulnerable left a lasting impact on the world.  

At this time of great loss, our thoughts are with the Catholic Church, the faithful in Ireland and around the globe and all who mourn the passing of a remarkable and deeply respected Pontiff.
