The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dublin, Dr Masoud
Eslami, took part in a press briefing on the 10th January 2020
regarding the challenging time after the assassination of Major
General Soleimani us army.
Ambassador Eslami described this assassination as an outrageous act of
state-sponsored terrorism which was carried out by direct order of a
head of state, while Trump's “attempts to demonize Major General
Soleimani only try to justify the unjustifiable. he also added that
bellicosity is a chronic feature of Trump and his associates. They
want other countries to be subordinated to their will. To date, Iran
has been careful not to be entrapped by the warmongers who are
circling around Trump. The world has not forgotten the fallacies and
lies preceding the US invasion of Iraq and its devastating consequences.
