Statement of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ireland on  the Martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran

With hearts filled with sorrow and grief, we extend our condolences on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, who was martyred in a violent and illegal terrorist attack by the enemies of the Iranian nation. This tragic incident, which simultaneously led to the martyrdom of several other senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reflects the blatant hostility of the illegitimate Zionist regime and the United States toward human principles and international law, and it must be strongly condemned by all countries.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dublin strongly condemns this brutal terrorist act and considers it a serious threat to international peace and security. Despite this cowardly act, the resolve of the Iranian nation to continue on the path of independence, freedom, and defense of its legitimate rights will never be weakened.

The Embassy also extends its condolences for this great loss to all freedom-loving people around the world and to progressive and resilient countries, and emphasizes the continuation of the path and legacy of this venerable leader.
