Iran ambassador submits credential to Irish president
IRNA – The newly appointed Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Ireland met the Irish president and presented credentials to him.
Conveying greetings of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Irish president Michael Higgins, Masoud Eslami referred to Iran-Ireland political, economic, and cultural relations and expressed hope it expands in the future.
Higgins, for his part, confirmed both countries’ opportunities for developing relations and stressed the continuity of the relations between Iran and Ireland.
Eslami had previously held positions like the Foreign Minister assistant, Director General of Oil Ministry for legal affairs, president of the School of International Relations of Iranian Foreign Ministry.
